Q. Who performs the treatments?
A. Our Harley Street trained UK specialist, Candice Watson, performs all of our SPMU – Semi Permanent Make Up and Medical Micropigmentation treatments.
Q. Where can we have the treatments done?
A. All Permanent Cosmetic treatments (Semi Permanent Make Up and Medical Micropigmentation) are performed at LCAS – the London Centre for Aesthetic Surgery, Healthcare City, Dubai. Please email for location map or click here.
Q. Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Appointments can be made by calling LCAS directly on +971 4 375 2393.
Q. Who decides on the colour?
A. You do. There are a vast number of colours and we usually recommend a mixed bespoke colour to compliment your natural skin tones. The new shape and colour is always drawn on for your approval prior to applying the semi permanent colour.
Q. Is Semi Permanent Make Up safe?
A. Yes. We adhere to the strictest hygiene and sterilisation standards to current Harley Street guidelines.
We have written the local guidelines for Health and Safety in line with standards used whilst working on Harley Street, London.
Q. Is our equipment sterile and hygienic?
A. Yes. We only use pre-sterile, individually packed needles made in Germany. Each needle is used once and disposed of in a sharps box.
The main unit and hand piece are covered using medical grade film that helps protect against microscopic blood spores and bacteria. This film is only used once and is disposed of after each client.
Q. Is your equipment up to current global standards?
A. Our machine is the only machine in the world that carries a class 2A medical grade certification. In our opinion it is the best and most comfortable machine on the market for both semi permanent make-up and medical micropigmentation.
Q. Is it painful?
A. Some people feel minor discomfort which is no problem for most people, a little uncomfortable for some e.g. eyebrow enhancement is compared to plucking your brows. Many clients feel the many years of looking great with care free results outweigh any momentary discomfort.
Q. How long will it take?
A. Each procedure usually takes about 30 – 45 minutes however we recommend you allow 60 minutes per treatment which will include your initial consultation and after care instructions.
In some cases, there may be slight swelling or redness to the treated area, this will subside very quickly. You may resume your normal activities immediately following the procedure. You will, of course, be given full after care instructions. Your semi permanent make-up will last for up to five years, by which time it will have faded. You would usually have a re-touch when you feel the micropigmentation has become pale.
